Lady Chiefs Volleyball wins Battle @ the Beach tournament!

The Lady Chiefs volleyball team got off to a great start going 5-0 to win the annual Battle @ the Beach tournament this past weekend! The ladies beat Ashley Ridge 25-18/25-14, Hoggard (NC) 25-12/18-25/15-13, Musselman (WV) 25-20/25-11, Lexington 25-23/26-24 to advance to the finals, where they rematched Hoggard (NC) and won 23-25/25-23/15-9. Senior outside hitter Clara Cloninger was named tournament MVP and she was joined on the all-tournament by junior outside hitter Lilly Loeswick. Great job ladies!
