Chiefs News · What to Expect When Attending a Varsity and JV Chief Basketball Game

Online ticketing and entrance to the gymnasium

Welcome to the remaining season of Chief Basketball. Due to Covid-19 restrictions and the frequency of games, Varsity/JV combined ticket distribution has changed. For the foreseeable future, three tickets will only be available to the players, both home and visiting, using their unique passcode number. Cheerleaders will be allotted two tickets per participant.

Horry County Staff passes, Top 65, and Booster passes of players’ families will be honored with the purchase of the player’s three tickets. You must log in to and purchase a ticket. Before you pay, you will be asked to enter a promo code. The HCS Staff code is hcsstaff21 and the Top 65 code is nmb65. All tickets with promo codes will be verified by the NMB Athletic Department. You must bring your ticket, staff id, Top 65 id and another form of identification to enter the game. SCHSL passes will be accepted at the gate with proper credentials on the Dragonfly App and an ID. These passes and directions are only good for NMB Chief games. You must check the website of the school we are playing for their codes, if they exist.

Junior Varsity ONLY game tickets will be General Admission tickets with a limit of 200 seats combined for Home and Visiting fans. Booster passes will be accepted at the time of purchase using the promocode.

Enter the gymnasium from the front entrance of the gym.  You must wear a mask while on campus.  Please present your mobile or printed ticket to be scanned for entry.  You will not be allowed to exit and re-enter the gymnasium.  Please plan ahead.

Varsity/JV combined tickets are $7.00.  JV only game tickets are $6.00. No refunds are available with the purchase of your ticket(s).  The doors will open to fans 30 minutes before the first game begins.

Concession Stand

The concession stand will be closed until further notice. Outside food or drinks are allowed in the gym.  Please clean up after yourself. No tailgating is allowed in the lot before, during, or after a game.

The visiting team fans will sit behind the TEAM benches.  North Myrtle Beach fans will be allowed to sit on the HOME bleachers opposite the benches.  All fans will need to sit in the designated locations marked with the Chief Logo sticker.  See the picture below.

Available seats are located 6′ away from other fans. You may sit with your family without social distancing, but please be mindful of your space and others around you. Please use proper social distancing (6 feet) around fans you are not related to. No one other than school and game personnel are allowed to stand in other locations of the gym.

Please remain in your seat unless using the restroom or visiting the concession stand.

We ask that when you enter the building, you find a seat and remain seated for the entire game.  You are allowed to visit the restroom and the concession stand, but please remember to stay socially distant and 6 feet away from other spectators.  Do not approach the visiting or home team bench area and stay off the court.  Please wash and/or sanitize your hands frequently to help reduce the spread of germs.  All spectators must wear a mask while on campus.

After the game

Once the game is over, you will not be allowed to sit in the stands or stand on the court.  All fans are required to leave immediately upon completion of the game.  If you are waiting on your student athlete, please wait in your car.

If you feel sick or you have a fever, please stay home.  If you have tested positive for COVID-19 recently or are showing COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home.  If you have had close contact with a person who has symptoms of COVID-19 within the past 14 days, please stay home.
